Why Adopt?
When you adopt a cat from Koko's Rescue, you're giving a second chance to a cat in need. Our cats have been rescued, rehabilitated, and are now ready for their forever homes.
Each adoption helps us continue our mission of rescuing more cats and providing them with the care they need until they find loving homes.
Adoption Process
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must live in the tri-state area (NY, CT, NJ)
- Commit once application is approved
- Once approved be ready to take home cat
Adoption Process
- Fill out the adoption application
- Wait for the application to be reviewed
- Provide extra requested information
- Sign an adoption agreement
Adoption Fees
- Kittens up to one year of age - $175
- Adults over one year of age - $150
- Double adoptions - $300
Complete Medical Care
Every cat adopted from Koko's Rescue receives comprehensive medical care:
Dewormers and preventatives
- Deworming
- Flea and tick treatment
- Flea and tick prevention
Tests, vaccines, surgery
- First FVRCP booster
- Rabies vaccination (at 4 months of age)
- FeLV test
- FIV test (at 6 months of age)
- Spay and neuter
- Microchip
